Dark/Heavily Political Songs that sound Happy

This came first in mind

And

Anything off the first two Propagandhi albums fits this description pretty well. Fast, major key skate punk that has some very strong political leanings.

Just a short one for you

Oh so many to choose from... also really dark songs that sound happy is like half of all Post-Punk songs out there...
Some examples:

New Order - Bizarre Love Triangle (pretty sure it's literally about the circumstances that led to Ian Curtis' suicide)
Nine Inch Nails - Everything (about the hollow victory of having survived all the stupid shit and drugs you did while you were younger, and how those things will permanently change you)
Les Savy Fav - Raging In The Plague Age (about getting kicked out of your apartment and forced into homelessness because you party too hard before getting back on your feet with the help of antidepressants and completely giving up pot, using Bubonic Plague and Middle Age metaphors. Also a perfect COVID song)
Protomartyr - Tranquilizer (about getting addicted to tranquilizers like because you can't handle how fucked up the world is, to the tune of a downbeat version of The Pixies Gigantic)
Protomartyr - Modern Business Hymns (literally about the apocalypse)

Surprised this wasn't mentioned yet. Bullet is about suicide but sounds like the most happy-go-lucky track in the universe:

Easily my first thought when talking about happy sounding songs that are about dark topics.

Born in the U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen. It seems a lot of people just plain don't listen to any lyrics other than the title.

This Youtube comment sums it up very well:

I was always blown away to see this song played at ball games, political events seemingly depicting a proud America... Born in the USA. The true meaning of the song is protest and the suffering the veterans went through and what they dealt with in the war along with the pain they experienced when they returned home. The song has always been glorified as proud America when in fact it is a very sad and painful story of suffering and a lack of appreciation of all the lives lost and suffering that came out of this war.
