The "why" part is what I'm interested in, when people talk about their game rotations. Tell me more about how you approach your daily/weekly gaming sessions!
I'll start off with mine to provide an example for the format
Currently I'm tackling the following:
Abiotic Factor every other day in co-op, with Portal 2 in co-op as well on thursdays with a busier friend. Those being obvious that I'm doing them being co-op is always fun, my single player adventures are:

Currently I'm tackling the following:
Abiotic Factor every other day in co-op, with Portal 2 in co-op as well on thursdays with a busier friend. Those being obvious that I'm doing them being co-op is always fun, my single player adventures are:
- Blackthorne (32x) - I've got some rough insomnia at the moment, and I love picking a dark/brooding 2D game I can play on my chinesium handheld. As I wake at midnight after going to sleep at 10pm, I beat a level, and then I go out for a ciggie before having a snack. I always find these types of games to really benefit from the "under-the-covers" atmosphere. My previous one in this timeslot/role was Metroid Fusion, and I think the one post Blackthorne will be CV: Aria of Sorrow.
- Megaman Legends (PSX) - something casual to go through on my Air when I can't be asked to turn on my desktop. I find the story to not require a lot of focus, while still offering some arcade-y gameplay, despite the at-times dungeon crawlesque structure.
- Sonic Adventure DX (PC, Modded for DC Textures and Fixes) - one of the games I always wanted to see what the fuss is about. After completing the original Spyro trilogy in 2025, I decided to branch out a bit towards other classics, and I finally got to this one. Really enjoying it as a palate cleanser between the horror stuff I always play.
- Parasite Eve (PSX) - What I play to wind down around 7-8pm in bed on my macbook air. Despite the dark tone, I find it super comfy when combined with the music, and the admittedly relatively forgiving resource management. Never really feel like I'm running out of things, so having a good time while still getting my fix for a darker tone.
