Hi! I'm a noob and I have something to ask. 😊😅

Is .cue files important or is it okay to delete it?
I finished several games in PPSSPP emulator like the Final Fantasy I, II, III, and the Crisis Core and I don't encounter some errors so far.
But now that I'm playing Digimon world 3 at ePSXe emulator, I just want to know if it's gonna do just fine as the same as I played with the PPSSPP games?

Pretty sure you need em both, I always forget which one you have to open in the emulator, but one references the other

They're important. Always keep them together!

Also you must not rename them, the .bins and .cues of the same game should match, and when opening the .cue with a text editor you must ensure that the names there are matching.

All of this ensures the integrity of the game data.

Also some games have multiple .bin and is not a good idea to fuse them.

If you want to know why the .cue file are important, go ahead and open one in Notepad or another text editor. They're written in plain English. They're basically a "table of contents" for the different data file (your one or more .bin files). That tells the emulator how to load in the game. If you ever rename your .bin files, you need to update your .cue to match, or it won't load. Likewise, if you delete your .cue, the emulator won't know what to do with your .bin files.
