Crossovers in Anime/Manga

Lupin_III_VS_Detective_Conan_The_Movie.jpg
I watched that one and while I appreciated it I feel that there wasn't the feeling of the earlier Conan manga with blood and creative murders.

Maybe because Lupin is more family friendly or that Conan delved from that style already...

I loved Lupin vs Cat's Eyes.

that's kind of funny, since the lupin comic is more violent than the cartoon.

Watched both of the movies with the those two, but didn't like them. I hate Conan, Lupin sucks since the fourth series, and i never really liked his movies.

The first half of the first series in more mature than rest of it.

And the earlier seasons were quite lewd and violent too.

I mean by lewd it's mostly Fujiko (although she kept some of that sultriness in the latest seasons).

Lupin was quite unhinged, same with Conan's manga with the blood and how violent some murders were (and some rare suggestive moments but mostly innocent implied scenes like one scene when Ran talked about wanting to help Conan washing but since the later is Shinichi, her boyfriend, he got flustered thinking about it which is expected lol).

Perhaps there were new rules regarding shonens about violence and suggestive stuff.

This is why some mangas became more like Seinens like City Hunter.

Early instalment weirdness. Even Conan, Yugioh and I'd say JoJo felt different in their beginnings.

yeah, i've heard that it is more mature in tone and nature. i got a issue of the comic and it definitely wasn't what i expected.

going from what i can tell, it seems like if it's a comic or ova, it can be more off the rails in its content; while if it has a broader range, it has to stay more in line with being, normal or more restrained. i'm not quite sure how to describe it.

i've seen it enough already with the amount of tie in fighting games taht are just simply commercials its just all meh at the end of the day.
