Could you recommend me good mecha games?

I don't know if Transformers: Devastation counts as a mecha game but it do have giant robots with Bayonetta-style combat.

Nobody ever mentioned Kikaioh/Tech Romancer? You guys suck. :loldog

Also in the same vein, Gundam: The Battle Master 1 & 2 and Gundam: Battle Assault 2 (yes, they're different games because Japan's TBM duology actually has a story)

Ranger X (GEN)
Metal Warriors (SNES)
Love & Destroy (PS1)
GunGriffon 1 & 2 (SAT)
Omega Boost (PS1)

- Armored Core series

- Federation VS Zeon/AEUG VS Titans/Gundam VS Z Gundam

- Gundam SEED Destiny Rengou VS ZAFT II PLUS

- Gundam VS

- Macross VFX-2 (PSX), SDF Macross (PS2)

- Another Century's Episode series

- Virtual On series

- Custom Robo Arena (somewhat)

- Steambot Chronicles/Bumpy Trot (somewhat)

I've found games like ring of red, i really wanna fine some more niche or different franchises, but alas might have to wait for more games to come out.

Ring of Red was fantastic, if you enjoyed that then it may be worth trying Front Mission if you haven't already? The first two have remakes but you can emulate the third game on PSX easily and it's brilliant.

Sadly i have played some of front mission, i think i know of all the mainstream games.

Been meaning to see if the SNES port of Mechwarrior is any good. Loved 2 on Win9x way back when. Armored Core too.

I've played a thousand hours of https://hawakening.com/

It's a dead multiplayer game tho, you'd have to find a guild and the vets left are vicious killing machines.

never played it, but my classmate/friend never shuts up about Super Robot Taisen: OG Saga Endless Frontier. dont know if its good, never checked. dont even know if its mecha lol, im just guessing by the name

R.A.D - PS2
Remote Controlled Dandy - PS1
Omega Boost - PS1
Run=Dim As Black Soul - Dreamcast
Bangai-O - Dreamcast

Guessing you know of Mech Assault and Metal Wolf Chaos on Xbox too?

i vaguely recall a mech game for ps2, Battle Engine Aquilla?

The Gundam Battle series on the PSP are great tps you should try.

Mechassault 1 and 2 were awesome arcadey mech-shooters from the the Battletech/ Mechwarrior IP.

Man .... i wish the old PC Mechwarrior games getting rereleased with fixes . I wanna play those badly . Especially 3 and 4 .

yep :(

New PC game Dolls Nest, just came out last month.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon

As a kid I played Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Hawken, and later Titanfall.
Then during covid I discovered Armored Core, Lancer, and the Battletech universe. Which solidified my love for the “depressed people fighting each other with big ass robots” genre.
I like both the speedy humanoid Japanese mechas, and the big chonky stompy walker kinds, so any recommendations in any genre are appreciated!::beer
