Ok, i've been raised all my life playing games only on PC. I never used controllers except for the very brief time i had a PS2 as a kid. Nowadays i am complete crap in using it specially with more input-demanding games. Upon learning that the keyboard i use for years have been hindering me because it has a shitton of ghosting and somehow my tiny tiny brain couldn't notice it, i started using more the only controller i have here. The thing is that everything is weird about it, the way you have to rest your hands, drag your fingers across the d-pad if you are playing fighting games, the way you seemly have to make much more effort to realize actions is uncomfortable to me and hurts my hands.
The question is: is there a controller type more appropriate for mlg 420blazeit call of duty PC only FPS players like me that feels more intuitive? or i literally just have to grind more? tips? gtfo scrub?

Nope, fps games are easier to play on keyboard and mouse.

There are arcade sticks with keyboard-styled buttons on them. Keyboards are much like arcade sticks and some moves are easier to perform on keyboards.

You'll get used to it eventually.

Yea yea i know about the mixbox, snackbox and the hitbox but i wanted some alternative for a d-pad style stuff. I don't want it to be literally like a k+m but i want it to be more intuitive for people like me.

Also yeah, i think the reality is that i just need to get used, but it hurts lmao

Best I can say is a PS5 or Switch controller that has motion controls. Steam has a control type called "Flick Stick", where you use the right stick as something similar to a top-down shooter, and then use the motion controls to look up & down. It's complicated to explain in short, but there are hundreds of videos of people talking about it. Downside is, it's complicated to setup, at least in my attempts. If you are willing to look past this, I have heard that people love it. I also do believe there is a site for presets or program that does something similar, but Steam is the most trustworthy and reliable.

For FPSes I'd recommend the XBone controller because of the offset sticks, although I myself don't like the pattern. Maybe you'd be better off getting a solid keyboard, since you are used to them.

controller for fps? honestly i'd recommend a new keyboard. you can get a redragon or something if money is an issue. a cheap keyboard will cost about as much as a new controller, but a flick shot just isnt possible on a controller. you hamstring yourself a bit by making the switch. either that or play on console, which is a fine option if you actually like controller. i enjoy a controller fps but on pc it's just tough.
