I do, and i play just on PC and emulation

Xbox one and PS4 I play significantly less in summer emulation jumps much higher for me as well

Lately I've been checking out some DS titles on my phone, and MelonDS has been working great for me. It's way too hot to shut myself in my study and spend time in front of the PC..

Nowadays it's not intentional, as I'm more focused on arcade (like Devil Engine and Mullet Madjack) and retro games (Dimahoo, Ketsui, Gunbird 2, Dondonpachi Daioujou, ...), but I'm not touching the PS4 Pro in hot days. It might melt otherwise, and it still has many miles to go before it sleeps.

I always use my handhelds all the year round (I don't play on pc or on TV consoles).

Since I have the AC on for my cats, I can play whatever, but usually yes, if I don't have the AC on I stick to systems and games that aren't graphically intensive.

In summer I love playing shmups and arcade games the most anyway, mega drive and such on real hardware so those usually don't get overly hot.
