I saw this on another site and figured we could give it a try?

Basically: get stuff off your chest.

Talk about things you have done and aren't particularly proud of, rant about whatever is troubling you... Or just go the good, old venting route.

Pretty much anything is welcome, but forum rules very much still apply.

----

I recently got into such a heated argument with someone that I honestly thought about stabbing them right then and there. I don't know what stopped me, but you wouldn't be reading this topic if I hadn't thought better of it.

What about you?

I tried converting my N64 from PAL-M to NTSC. I didn't had any prior experience with soldering, I did ask my friend for help but he was an amateur. It took way too many clumsy tries to get it "right" and upon turning the console on the image didn't appear. In hindsight, I think I bought the wrong crystal oscillator too.

Luckly I still have two other spare N64 for some reason so I didn't had to live without one. Still, it hurt, and was as one of my lessons in life to not be a dumbfuck and do delicate things on a whim.

I decided to never touch it again until I took the time and patience to buy my own soldering kit and learn with beginner, disposable stuff first.

I wanted to beat someone once but it was over the internet so I couldn't do it 😅
I'm not violent I swear

I believe that, whether we like it or not, we’re all somewhat victims of this kind of intrusive thought, especially when someone makes us angry. In my case—especially when I was a kid—I ended up smashing the face of some poor idiot who used to bully me. Ever since then, I’ve tried to keep my temper in check, and nowadays I actually prefer to play along with the stupidity of those who disrespect me, just so I don’t waste my energy on something so pointless.

I actually pirated my video-games. And it's been weighing down on me since 😢

It's healthy that you learned to keep your temper in check.

Though I will say that a little physical violence is usually the best response to bullying. Subjecting yourself to prolonged harassment can cause psychological stains that can last for life. People shouldn't be entitled to do this to others, even if they need to learn their lesson the hard way.

Oh, absolutely.

Bullies usually speak one language.

Everytime I hear a baby cry and parents pretending they don't give a shit about anyone around I want to rip off their baby's head from its body and smash them with it.

But it can be extrapolated to any kind of situation where somebody is annoying other people and don't care. Cutting off extremities while hearing them screaming in pain are things I always think about. I despise noisy people.

Years ago in high school I had a good friend in one of my classes. There was a guy I liked in one of my other classes. Apparently, he was her ex.

I asked her if she'd be upset if he asked me out, and she said no. So when he did, I said yes. She got upset and stopped being friends with me.

If it helps, my autistic ass really thought she'd be okay with it because she said she would be.

I still feel bad about it now, though.

Slightly on topic, I used to beat up bullies back in school, as in no holds barred full-on fighting like Kiryu destroying up punks. I had my parents called to principal office once every few months.
Other kids started to distance themselves from me around 8th grade but hey, by the time I'm in high school the bullying did lessen, some freshman who I never met before even thanked me for it.

I did not regret it one bit.

I confess I once got jealous when a guy told me he drove 3 hours just to eat a plate of nachos and drink a beer before heading straight home. Like damn, the places I could try if I convinced myself to drive that far for food.

Though something more retro gaming related I confess I never played Earthbound.

People have been telling me that I am a good son/good person for taking care of my dad for so long, but I don't believe them because if that were true, he'd still be here now.

Not your fault she did gave her consent.

This but for any given situation, I don't want to hear your baby crying at fucking 10 in the morning 😭

Ehh I used to feel that way about babies until I had one. Now I just tune it out. If our kid ever started getting fussy in the grocery store or something, I'd take her out to the car to calm down. Sometimes babies just get overstimulated. They can't help it.

Granted, if you take a fussy baby into a movie theater, I have words for you. Being a parent means sacrificing that kind of stuff until they're old enough to sit quietly.

Why not just hand them a phone and put on Skibidi toilet to calm them down. /j
