I don't use hashtags, but if you are place them in the description and make it like 3, also make it relevant to the video as many use it sparingly for extra clicks.

Do you all use hashtags? I’m getting more views but also dislikes from them.

I think a lot of people probably expect me to be using a nice handheld and playing the games well, so they just are rude and dislike.

I use hashtags on my videos, but as metadata. When you set a title, description and all that stuff, there's a section where you can add hashtags. They wont apear on title or descriptions, but still making your videos revelant.
