Other than 'fucking all of them'?

I hate every single commercial where the entire advert is full of singing and/or dancing; some recent ones I fucking hate so much:
- All of those goddamn Chick-fil-A adverts where there's like 30 people dancing around in the restaurant while a song is playing about the latest mediocre product at the mediocre fast food chicken place.

- That Degree deodorant commercial where it uses the tune of 'Heads, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes' and goes 'Crotch, Underboob, and Butt' like fucking no we do not need to hear you singing about that shit while showing us people spraying their goddamn crotch with your deodorant. Also full body deodorant? IT'S CALLED TAKING A SHOWER.

- Another deodorant one, that one Lume deodorant advert where they claim it's a 'real Lume review' and it's an animated cartoon with that Corporate Memphis art-style (but somehow uglier) and with singing about how they get 'boob sweat under their boobs and it's really smelly' and they put that deodorant under the 'boobs, armpits, and thigh crevices'. Once again: we do not need you singing about this stuff. Come on.

Also, this is an almost decade old local commercial from back when I still lived in Florida, but I still have hatred for this damn advert in my heart:

Just the fact that it was clearly the owner of the dealership's daughter and they dubbed an adult woman over her for the singing just...I really hated this advert every time I saw it. God.

those old tampax and bodyform ads - only because they were on so much , and the nintendo ads where they always said at the end " the worlds number 1 game system"

::omgdoomI haven't watched a commercial in like... 6 years!!! Or should I say, I can't remember any if I did.

Do ads on Youtube count? Hate em... !!

There's two commercials for Cheez-Its that run currently that are like, really weirdly sexual???
I'm far, far from sex repulsed but they genuinely are uncomfortable to watch and don't make cheez-its any more appealing to me.

It's part of some marketing campaign of "Cheez-It cravings can happen anywhere" or something, i dunno.

Most except for As Seen on Tv ads.
Don't like ads on youtube the most though

I've barely seen any ads on the internet in almost two decades, including on youtube. And on the off chance where I did see one or two, on a friend's computer or when a script blocker briefly malfunctioned, I can't remember what it was about.
Honestly, I don't know what you guys are doing...
But I don't fully discriminate, I like 70s-00s japanese commercials, or at least the vaporwave music mixes that use them as footage.
As for the ones I hate, I haven't been exposed to that many, so I can't really think of any...

edit: oh, remember Billy Mays? That guy was so ridiculous that he was almost cool! Plus, the shit he advertised was so ridiculous and unnecessary that I consider his body of work to be performance art rather than ads. ::cirnoshrug

I don't know if it's proof of paying for a TV channel, but I remember the cattle show, which is a program about selling cattle.

Those that butcher my beautiful German language with heavy use of English anglicism that makes me wanna punch my screen.

Also wir kaufen Dein Auto commercial annoying as heck and terrible at that.

Also commercials for Remakes
Sarah Silverman Eww GIF by HULU

Yikes just thinking of it.

During World Cup the constant abd I mean constant everhyting about football commercials where getting onm y nerves.

I can't remember a single one in here that isn't a desperate and obnoxious attempt at stealing attention and sticking it in the mind. Worse if it's a fsdkjsdjfhsdihecking song ::omgdoom

I just don't understand how many people can sit there and hear that crap at 80% volume on tv all the time and never think that "hmm maybe we should mute this until the program returns". Because that's surely normal in here + not being bothered by a hundred 10 minute long youtube ads and living with it

Or maybe it's just me the one that notices that instantly and tries to shut that up because it bloats my mind, horrid. ::badpc

If there's one thing from Vinesauce's Commercial Chaos taught me... Mobile Ads will always be the worst.

virtually all of them, with the exception of those that try to be interesting/fun, I'm talking about the rare ones where selling the product is the secondary go (like Old Spice commercials).

Both of these adverts make me want to do terrible things to people. I've boycotted their products because I dislike their adverts so much.

Most, with the exception of those ridiculous ones that try to convince the buyer that flimsy, dubiously useful products are advertised with a disturbingly unnatural cheerfulness, and often involve before/after cut-ins that go from monochrome to full color.

Those make me go from smiling to snickering and peaking at cackling maniacally, imagining if anyone would be so naive to believe the outlandish promises those things showed.

Evidence A:

And I rest my case.

I actually think some adverts are a form of psychological warfare and are designed to be legitimately harmful, more so than to sell you a product. I said this to a friend who works in advertising and they scoffed and claimed those affected by adverts are weak. When I probed them further they admitted they were among the first to pay for YouTube Premium so that they wouldn't have to watch any adverts themselves.

Well, the bravado sure died quickly! snark aside, I agree; lowering one's mental defenses and slipping in subliminal patterns is probably the true objective.

Obligatory "yeah, all of them."

I think a lot of the annoyance that comes from commercials is how often you're exposed to them. I don't mean in general, but just hearing specific ones, over and over. You hear a commercial one time, it's probably tolerable unless it's loud, inherently annoying, or something else. But multiple times a day? Multiple times an hour??

But I realize some repetition is necessary, else how would you learn what the product is? It still sucks!

I think the worst ones are the song parodies because they ruin good music. You hear the original song and can easily think of the product that riffed on it if you heard the commercial often enough. I'm pretty sure this is why I can't stand regular Christmas music since so many songs were used as commercial jingles, so when stores are playing the music over the speakers, they're nothing but 'commercials' to me now.

Yeah, I was in my teens after school when this commercial came out. It was repetitive as sin, but man did it get your attention
