It's a nailed arcade homebrew port (1:1).

This is a homebrew port, if anyone is wondering. IMO an example of a game that got ported when (originally) ported, the arcade original is fine but the Genesis game (Atomic Runner) is great.

It's not emulation. It's a port.

The Chelnov arcade hardware contained a Motorola 68000 CPU running at 10 MHz, a MOS Technology M6502 sound CPU at 1.5 MHz, and sound chips such as the YM2203 and YM3526.

This is actually similar overall to NeoGeo spec, which is what makes the port feasible.
