Game 2: I was 7 or so and we went on vacation in this lake town here in Macedonia, Doiran. There was an arcade nearby (Macedonia had arcades in the 80's and 90's at every corner and I was living in heaven back then) and one of the games was something that, again, shouldn't exist. It was Altered Beast but with "chibi" characters and background similar to that of Contra Arcade. The Arcade would freeze up all the time and I remember the grandma who was selling coins there told me not to play it but I just had to try it out, sure enough it froze up half way through the first level. I'd say it was the Famicom altered beast in an arcade cabinet, but no, this had 16bit graphics, shading and everything. It's just everything was smaller, chibi designs even. I knew Altered Beast hence what drew me to the game in the first place and this was a lot like it, right down to the bigs or whatever you kill for powerups, but it was visually different. [/QUOTE]
