I don't remember Tales of Phantasia for the PSP being in english. Are you using a psp eboot of one of the two PSX games, or are you playing Tales of Phantasia Narikiri Dungeon X, cause this game is not finished. As for in Game Bug fixes for the PSX games, its impossible cause both translation team retired.

Unfortunately. Bandai Namco seems to be rereleasing older tales of games. Hopefully they might do a Phantasia HD in the future.
