Bungie caught stealing artwork

Reminds me of when Disney took the hair from Sora fan art and put it in a box in that Chip and Dale movie, expecting no one to notice

oh no anyway 2.jpg

I mean, all the people who made Marathon and Halo are long gone. Now it's just a corpo wearing Bungie's skin because brand recognition. I didn't care about the new Marathon before this and I'll continue to not care.

They also poisoned our water supply, burned our crops and delivered a plague unto our houses

They also plagiarized some author's sci-fi story from a wordpress site regarding the Red Legion. Funny they tried using user made content as "proof" of their innocence.

Not to mention allegey being "inspired" by Warframe's robo character designs when creating Destiny
creators for Destiny 2 and Halo series
Destiny yes, as for Halo. That was the old team before they were all replaced by business people from Microsoft before those same business people bought themselves from MS.
The Prioritization on the safe loot n shoot co-op elements should be the biggest hint on the mass change in company.

I just grabbed em all on Steam because they were free on that day, I’ve never played them lmao

Didn't one of the Sonic games use fan art too? I think it was Amy Rose.

You unlocked a memory lol
Kinda, it was Sonic & All Stars Racing. They accidentally used Sonia fan art for the floor on Roulette Road, which is especially wild because it means Sonia from Sonic Underground accidentally officially showed up in a SEGA crossover game. She looks incredibly similar to Amy Rose, so I imagine that’s how this mistake even happened. I think it was properly replaced in later versions of the game. I don’t know if the original artist ever got compensated or something, I doubt it. Elite ball knowledge though.

That wasn't the first time and I doubt it would be the last
The one thing they shouldn't mess up, they messed up. Marathon was the franchise that launched them; and they got brought by Sony, who just had taken Concord behind the barn and put it out of its misery after 8 years. This is one of the worst possible scenarios for them, and they stole so many assets before.

Did you know there was still some coding from Marathon in the Halo games? Well, it seems Bethesda isn't the one to use decades-old code.
