I was more of a hot wheels kinda kid. I never liked legos I would either play with cars or do a regular puzzle like an old person

Wasn’t that like the baby collection or little kid one Lego duplo I think it was called

Oh, no, no, I'm pretty sure they were regular sized bricks. Pretty elaborate builds too. As for Hot Wheels, I only came to appreciate cars much later in life, so I never collected them, haha.

I remember I had a bunch cause my dad used to get them for me all the time than it got to crazy and my mom wanted it them out when I got older. I even remember my uncle getting me this big ass like Tomas the tank engine table that was the whole city.

My taste for wheeled vehicles as a kid were trucks and buses (I still love them a bunch).

I get a set every once in a blue moon and build it but man, LEGO is expensive for the amount of pieces you get. When I was a kid I was far more creative just building whatever I wanted instead of following the instructions, especially after I had a few sets in my meager collection. I had two obsessions back in the day - owning a set of a huge medieval castle (never happened and probably never will) and building a submarine (also never happened. I mean, it's just plastic bricks, not like there's any sealant to keep the water out).

i remember that i only had like chinese clones :3 but a friend gift me a lego man. I got my lego necessities through the lego games, and later minecraft (my beloved)

Does anyone remember the video games from back in the day? LEGO Island was the shit! It aged like milk but the OST still rocks.

Even to this day I love Lego Ninjago

It was the lego franchise that I was interested the most while I watched the TV show on Disney XD back in 2011. Good times when we didn't know the identity of the green ninja .

Also Clutch Powers rock's too.

I never got any Lego sets, but I did have a big tub of Legos I played with constantly. Still have it in storage at my mom's place actually. They are, famously, some of the best caltrops money can buy.

I got a K'nex set at one point as well. It could be assembled into either a ferris wheel or a vehicle. I built and tore down that shit many times.
