Yes, this is true. GTA 6 just got hacked again. And I'm pretty sure this game would be delayed.

I'll be darned, your right.

Well here i was dying to see a trailer 3 by end of May.

Maybe R* won't give a hoot and the plans for release will be all 'full steam ahead.'
God i love sipping on copium (disturbing slurpy sounds)

Well, that doesn't surprise me. Rockstar is a lousy company nowadays as they're so careless on what they do and I honestly don't care about GTA VI because of what have been going on behind the scenes and some controversies

God, my fuckin hero. The further back this gets pushed the less I have to think about it. Maybe if they push it back a half decade everyone will forget about it.

Their last good game, to me, is still the first Red Dead Redemption. GTAV I didn't care much for, and only played it because my brother was playing the game.

There have been so many better open world or crime sandbox games during the seventh generation and eighth generation of consoles. Especially if we're talking about the later Saints Row games, and not that reboot.

I was really hyped for GTA 5 when it came out, and did end up finishing it. Barely. The game essentially wore out its welcome for me when this mission came around. To say this sucks is underselling it. I took great pleasure in backing up the truck over this woman's head and discovering the game produces a blood spray when you spin out on people.
GTA 5's side activities are terrible. They even found a way to ruin hunting from Red Dead Redemption. The main missions fluctuate between mid to bad. Tennis is pretty good, but there's no decent AI to actually play the game against so it sucks, too. The Triathlon stuff is alright. It was just such a mid experience for what was otherwise an excellent engine/mechanically made game.

The only way Rockstar can get me to play any title of theirs again, is to treat their actual employees like people and not soulless machines. In addition, make actual other games and not just another open world game with way more details than necessary. Or remake GTA2 with a better save system and in the style of itself and China Town Wars. Bring back the faction system too. It wouldn't take them a whole decade and a half to make either. Though we all know none of this is ever going to happen.

Yes, like men and women working a salt man with cruel and harsh task masters whipping them into compliance. It's the only way to get it done. One of the best ways you can avoid overburdening and exhausting your employees is by actually having real project goals and direction, rather than pointless feature creep the bulk of which never sees the light of day. Which, is why GTA 6 and before it GTA 5 and RDR2 took ten plus years to come out.

lifetime NDAs... it's just horrible and if GTA VI gets released, I hope is a failure that kills Rockstar or even Take Two to free all that poor employees that don't deserve this

That's a bit of an exaggeration. Nobody is holding a gun to their heads to work there. But, the tech industry on the whole is infamous for shady abuse of employees. I joked about this in earlier threads, but the Yakuza in the 1980's did literally kidnap developers and force them to make games for them.
