The problem with borderlands 2 isn't anti-cheat, as far as i know it barely has one if at all, the problem is gearbox added a clause to all gearbox games that they can track literally everything you do on your pc so uh yeah.

I've done Borderlands and New Vegas. When I did the later I assumed it wasn't too different but it's really not exactly the same kind of game.
