Since the chief posted a similar thread for handhelds, I do the same for chinese consoles, to be connected to the TV. Surely the most widespread ones, especially since the end of the nineties, will certainly be the NES clones.

As for me, I have an  X-GAME 600 in 1 (paid €30 ten years ago) which contains nes, snes, md, gba, ng, cps1 and cps2 games, playable in high definition (hdmi output); but I purchased it above all for the possibility of using a micro-SD with your favorite games. The processor is a bit slow (and who knows what OS it contains?‍♂️) but it is possible to skip frames if necessary. I still play it with friends and neighbors, especially playing some legendary beat'm'up games! My favorites: Final Fight series (snes), Golden Axe series (md), Streets of Rage series (md), Cadillac & Dinosaurs and Captain Commando (cps1), Sengoku series (ng), Sailor Moon series (snes), Rushing Beat series (SNES). It may be junk, according to some, but what fun, guys!
Do you own any of these "papier-mâché" contraptions? ?

If You have fun with it and it is working good for You.

For me i use Wii for all 8 and 16 bit.

I think about a small mini PC to cover more systems. I want to try emulate Model 2 and 3 games. what You guys recommend here

What would these be? Never heard of them?
I had curiosity and I think it's the Sega arcade models. Also I recomend on model 2. Daytona USA and The house of the dead 1. And in model 3. Virtua fighter 3

Perfect time to show you the brazilian classic: Polystation!

Luckily I never had one, but many people had. It's lore is: Imagine you're a kid in the 90s or 2000s and you ask your mom or daddy who doesn't knows anything about games for a Playstation system. And then they go to the nearest thrift store and see this for a cheap price. There's your Polystation! It's a NES clone that released in 1997 and trolled a good amount of people. That's one of the funniest and most memorable bootlegs consoles in my opinion.

That sounds so good, I lowkey want to get one now if still available!
I imagine it worked at the time to keep a child occupied, but nowadays I would say it wouldn't serve very well as a Famiclone. It only has a few dozen games in memory if i recall correctly. But there are also it's sequels like Polystation 2 & 3.

My favorite is the Dynavision 4, a dual slot nes on chip famiclone from around 1995. It was my first console and came bundled with a 7 in 1 one cartridge (Mach Rider, Duck Hunt, Hogan's Alley, Tennis, F1 Race, Pac-man and Sky Destroyer)

XD This is amazing.

Never owned one Pegasus sadly but I heard it was the best selling system in Poland, and inspired many who went to create CDPR, GOG and all the loving slavjank we got.

I had this one as a kid, but it did not have those 1000 in 1 in rom it was more like 60 in 1, all different games and fairly good selection without clones, since I was born in the 90s it allowed me to play arcade ports of classic arcade games from the 80s

X-game 600 in 1

Emulates snes, genesis, gba, nes, neogeo and cps1. Contains Dingux as os. You can add games via micro SD.
If you use the AV cable (RCA) it works great, but if you use an hdmi cable, the games are jerky and sometimes it freezes. My son and I only play beat'em up and shoot'em up games, and for those it is apt and really fun. ?

When I was little I heard my grandpa was going to throw away an old console he bough for my mom and my uncle. From the information I had I think it was an Atari 2600 or one of the many soviet famiclones. I didn't really care what it was but I really wanted it, and to be honest, the NES/Famicom bootleg scene did do some impressive games one in a while.
Most of them were buggy messes that could get a laugh out of someone but there were some pretty good ones that just needed a bit more time in the oven to become as good as the good legitimate games
