Done Book Section

Actually good idea -voted- hope it becomes a thing

Books related to games? Or books just in general and unrelated?

There's locations i go to for books (and i have quite the archive i've been building up). So I'm not sure that's needed here. And books as i've seen can quickly add up in gigs.

But books related to games like an excerpt comicbook that was exclusive to a game, or a DVD that came with the game (.hack comes to mind), and game manuals seems more relevant.

I meant in general, there are books that I read cause they inspired games through (Box Man) by Kobo Abe

Hmmmm... I'd much prefer books related to video games. Like the cheat code books of old when the Genesis and NES codebreakers were a thing, magazines covering games, history of gaming, making video games books, etc. Maybe books with BASIC games in them for you to type in.

Though regardless what you might choose, it will take a lot of space. Well, not as much as CD's and ROMs... or movies.

In all fairness, all 'other interests' sections are only tangentially related to gaming. It's just things your typical nerd/gamer tends to gravitate to that aren't gaming so I see no reason why books should be an exception. A sports section would be weirder to have.

I have lots of interests. Computer programming, fantasy, sci-fi, anime, erotica, porn, gambling, fermentation, data compression, and rubix cubes to name a few. Yes it's far more likely to see geek/game books in a forum for gaming, but not limiting it to a specific quadrant of them leaves it open for everything.

Though it's safe to say with the under 2Mb upload limit, really limits almost everything.

Though discussions of genres even non-geek related would be fine (probably) as i doubt they would carry on too long.
