Best Tales of Game in your Opinion

Vesperia's the only one I've ever played to completion. I burned out on the other Tales of games that I've tried.

Xillia was my entry into the franchise, and there are so many fantastic entries! I haven't played all of them, but I've played most of them since the PS3-onwards.
I love pretty much all of the ones I've played, but I always go back to Zestiria & Berseria as my favourites. I think it's the way they complement eachother. That every time I play through one, it helps me appreciate the other even more.
Both are also prime examples to me of how excellently Tales handles its stories and character development, like few other RPGs manage to do to the same degree.
Berseria also has the character card minigame, and that is probably the easiest minigame for me to get completely lost in for hours.

Symphonia is my all-time favorite. I love Kosuke Fujishima's art and the story is one of the few RPG stories that has stuck with me as long as it has. Kratos is still my favorite Tales character in the whole franchise. I probably played through it 4 or 5 times in middle school alone. Tales of Phantasia is another one I really like, the 2d beat 'em up combat was always really fun. Abyss and Berseria didn't really do much for me, and I have always wanted to try Legendia.

I've only experienced up to the ps1 plus Innocence on the ds(cool world setting, but bad gameplay loop).
Of those i say my favorite is easily Eternia.
On the other hand I've enjoyed, some of the spinoffs like Tales of Vs(an arena fighter) and some of the Tales of the world on the psp.

I have the fondest memories of Symphonia but I consider Arise and Xillia to be better. Even though I like Symphonia more.
Destiny II is Eternia and should be seperated. Eternia is the best 2D.

I would say Xillia is the best 3D

Arise was also pretty good. I need to do another playthrough sometime as a refresher though. It's been nearly 4 years since I played it and I would like to check out the expansion DLC at some point.

Phantasia is my favorite and Berseria my second favorite so I chose Berseria.

Among the ones I played, "Tales of Innocence" has been the first and the most beautiful for me.
