I think I will try this game out.

By-the-way this text says: ぼくのなつやすみ2 海の冒険篇 means My Summer Vacation 2 Sea Adventure Edition

Yeah but it's a bit misleading. This is a game in the series you can swim and dive underwater like GTA San Andreas, however unlike what the name implies the game is not just about some "ship adventure" or something related to that calibre to be an "adventure". It's very similar to the previous game that you have stuff to do on land + you just can explore underwater and find ordinary stuff as an addition.

So calling what the game is about and what you can experience "an adventure" is like someone saying "once when I was a child I had a summer adventure spending my time in a village and playing PlayStation 1 all the time, but when I was bored I just walked around the village and just saw some rock, cave and trees" lolol.

"Adventure" implies "out of ordinary life experience" but this game is about ordinary slice of life cozy experience. I call the name a "scam"!!!! lol

My partner and I have been playing through Persona 4, and I ain't never played Persona 4 before, and holy shit we love Persona 4.
Good thing about Persona 4 is it gives satisfaction to basic human desires. The game is simply heartwarming and thriller adventure between interesting friendship. Most people would like this, but to dislike the game you gotta really nitpick it lol. Sadly rest of Persona games nothing like this regarding the topic of "a game that can satisfy basic human desires", but other Persona games have their own strong aspects. But I don't think most people would like Persona 3 and 5, and Persona 2 would mostly interest anime-like JRPG lovers because the game targets anime enjoyers, and Persona 1 goes full on satisfying 90s-style weird shit enjoyers and psychology lovers more than any Persona game. But Persona 1 is comedy gold too like being able to scare off monsters by doing hiphop dance and singing badly as a turn-based "attack type" ayy lmao.

I've been replaying Manhunt the last few weeks im taking my time with it. just like Manhunt summer down here in Florida is fun but also very uncomfortable and gross

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series, for sure, and Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. Beautiful visuals in a deserted island, and an incredible soundtrack that just screams "Adventure"
I really need to go back and finish this game, it was a lot of fun

That's the first title that came to my mind ;->
For a beautifully depressive summer ::lol

Then I would recommend Dragon Quest IX due to being a that tons of stuff to do, especially creating lots of characters for your party and enjoying all the ways they change your gameplay style, improving your character in lots of ways and then being depressed due to the bloody depressive story that always increases the depression level lol.

spot-on

I'm playin just about all of these in tandem n Persona 4 Golden is thus far packed to the hiLt with charm n a badass modicum of chuckle-eliciting goofiness to offset the mystic intrigue n depth. n Ultimax is a surprisingLy soLid fighter (well, maybe not surprising as ArcSysWks was involved ^_^)

I started on Persona 3 Portable but kinda migrated to Persona 3 Reload instead (I can play the more OG instaLLments later n approximate/appreciate them for wut they were n are)

just bareLy begun Persona: Revelations for PSx. 1st impression was that this game is best played at 2-3am lol abstract twiLight vibe but yet I see its satirical/symbolic relevance (as I heavily employ in posts or chats as some may have observed by now L u l0L if not Saul Goodman nonethelesssss)

I have not even touched my Persona 5, Royal, Strikers, nothin. I'm rockin the very outset of Metaphor ReFantazio n as soon as meh head stops the pressure hurtin - I'm assertin I will puLL back its CURTAIN (no-wit/bars/cadence xD )

I like the visual and musical art in Persona 5, but then if it never had Kaitou Kid theme IDK if I would like the game. How dull story is and how empty story progression is very similar to Persona 3 but the twist is it try to be like Persona 4 but fails miserably.

P5's story is already barely "ok" because story itself is boring, but then P5 Royal really ruined the story with additional characters and then these characters stretches the boring story further. It's way worse than Persona 4 Golden but at least in Golden we get the content the characters were already talking about in the game so clearly they cut the content to sell the game again lol.

TBH Persona 5 Strikers is a better game than other P5 games. Let's say same story but not so boring progression + gameplay is fun especially due to having turn based combat tactical gameplay in real time action style. In a way you go hard on strategy but I guess most easy difficulty wouldn't be bothering at all, you would just hack and slash easily lol. However game is way faster than Sonic lol.

Now I'm playing the F2P gacha game Persona 5 The Phantom X. TBH first gacha game I played but I know how BS gacha is, yet the gacha idea fits into this game, at least they managed to fit it in Carl Jung's context, and then by doing nothing for free game showers me everything so I unlocked like 90% of characters like in 20 hours. However I guess due to the way it's a gacha game it's not like RPGs we know. The game is like web-based games so you mostly do stuff via in game menus for crafting and resource management, and then get items to do stuff. Not to mention you need item to gain EXP for your characters so it doesn't work in the way you gain EXP and money after every battle. But turn-based gameplay is better than Persona 5 Royal for more features to its turn-based gameplay that makes things more fun, but some part of the change makes things harder. Story is so far best in Persona games just because it's more correct usage of Carl Jung's theories, and the "twist" of the game seems interesting if it's what I think it's, same as other "twist". However, game is based on time wasting more than meaningful thing to do and things gets longer to do. At least they decreased the amount of dialogues a lot compared to how Persona 5 is more like a visual novel but not as much as Metaphor: ReFantazio, but what increases the gameplay is they added tons of environmental puzzles which I always disliked. I hope in next Persona game, if it ever happens, they will improve this turn based combat by fixing "one more" attacks they ruined in this game but completely ditching environmental puzzles. Finding right key to unlock doors is one thing, and then dragging objects is one thing, and then weird ground puzzles are just "ugh" lol.

oh ok then Persona 5 games slackin in priority might be a primal sense detecting a glorified brutal drag through shYTe xD but I hope I'll get to it aLL in good time... I tend to honor those commitments in the 'long run', but if the long run ends up not so long then boo-hoo/who gives a fuck anywey 😜

are 'gacha' games like a paradigm flip? like the Pirate Yakuza thing? just meh guess there's certain new trends of things, even ones that may have come n gone cuz I was 'partying' for a number of years, n after doin that grind I kinda stepp'd back sociaLLy n just wrote music n practiced singing/screaming n shit (I was in a band in late 90's doin vocals but I was only good at screamin n rappin n lyrics pretty much so I had to refine my uhm 'vox pallette' or wutever the pretentious skuLLfuck you'd caLL it) so these mini-cuLture things were happenin but I wasn't aware/had not even an infinitesimaL clue of it/them. I learn mostly by context as I go - preferring to learn by more raw 'tactiLe' observation. mentaLLy n sociaLLy tactiLe if that makes any sense. it doesn't? well goddammit xDD

oh, n I liked Adventures of Lolo NES trilogy shit n Beyond Oasis/Legend of Oasis (for GenMD/Saturn respectiveLy) environs-puzzlers but puzzles usuaLLy puzzLefuck my dumbShit lack of cognitive reasoning that I onLy recently have improved but it's stiLL comparativeLy abysmaL to mosts' lol

Asians likes to challenge their luck to not feel cursed, that's why they play gamble stuff in a way they even encourage their kids for it. This is not what I can comprehend because my society had no concept of caring about gamble that much other than undergound gamble BS that's more like illegal betting for quick easy cash. It seems asians loves gamble so much from outside they seem like a very weird society out of Las Vegas lol.

Because of the way asians are actually this "gacha" BS in video games are an old trend. I think first example is from a game relased like 2 decades ago. As online gaming got popular due to the popularity of internet usage they made it easy to suck your money lol. I was always aware of them, and then F2P games tended to be a variation of gacha BS in their own context anyway. And then Valve intoduced American version with drop rates of hats and then Counter Strike box drop rates and so on. So unlike Valve online games in this gacha P5 game you can get all the items for free. Perhaps what's new about it is how it showers you with items unlike how F2P games tend to be. They expect you to grind everything for at least 100 hours, but not this game. I do nothing and then let it pour on me, baby lol.

So the game is a modern version of gamble that doesn't require real money per se. Game already showers you whatever item you need to drop items, you use in game tons of currency to buy stuff and all. But I know eventually it will force players to pay real money and when that happens I'll bail out lol. But so far the game is fun after all.

ah ok pachinko feveRRR xD

I lived in Vegas from '91-'02 n then again from '06-'20 so I enjoyed the earLeh days of bein there which was the perfect place for someone like me who was hyperactive, stuck in euphoric daydream - walkin the town with a constant drink in hand feeLing an unbelievabLe sense of freedom. these factors are possibLy why I'm maybe a lil too outspoken/outgoing for meh own good - even as more an introvert than extrovert. gambling bored the living shit outta me n I preferred to live the gamble a bit more personaLLy n overtLy - gettin as fucked up as humanLy possibLe n playin chicken with cars, punching waLLs quite stupidLy... eventuaLLy developing a 'god complex' then crashing n faLLing so hard in life that I quit every consumable n dangerous vice n got put on meds properly... finaLLy a judge in 2022, 2 yrs after I moved to Albuquerque - was an actuaL intelligent, perceptive human being actuaLLy younger than I was n granted me legal disability n backpay dating back to 2013. she kinda couldn't take her eyes off meh could be a factor too (weLL, wutevR gets ya from Point A to Tab B, I dunn care xD) so I shoulda gotten her # cuz I pretty much y'know... OWE her... but wutevR that mighta opened a bad can of worms so just as weLL...

alright I'm goin on n awn with synopsis history origin shenanigans n vain-sounding piss n wut not lol I just never caught the gambLing bug. that form of 'digital entertainment' insuLted meH noggiN methinX but I walked through casinos nearly everyday goin to movies n performances or bars or restaurants you get the fuCQ1n p1cTvR3 m8 ne?
