3DS Best story 3DS games?

Hi everyone! I bought New 3DS XL recently and need recommendation for games with great story in this console.
I never owned 3DS or DS before, and in the mood for playing games with great story. So thanks for the help!

Shin Megami Tensei series

I would recommend "Bravely Default End Layer" over the first BD because in the first one there's a part that could be quite boring (I won't make spoiler, just know I was like "what? AGAIN?" and at the end I just wanted to be done with the game).

I have no idea if anyone will recommend it but most people I’ve seen generally prefer the 3ds version of DQ8 over the ps2 so definitely that.

Other DS games with nice gameplay and good stories are, (if you can get them from here, because buying them I think it's impossible for high price and rarity):
**"Suikoden Tierkreis" (DS), turnbased, maybe the encounter rate is high but it's a Suikoden title nevertheless.
**"Okamiden" (DS), spin-off of "Okami", if you can play it with a touchscreen it's really cool
**"Another Code" (DS), point-and-click adventure, very beautiful story

For the last one, playing 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors beforehand is mandatory.

Tales of the Abyss is great, it was my first and favorite Tales game and the 3ds port is surprisingly good. I'd also recommend Radiant Historia and either Shin Megami Tensei IV or IV: Apocalypse. Though I think you honestly can't go wrong with either game, I rate IV: Apocalypse slightly higher in my mind. There's also Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey if you like dungeon crawlers.

Code of Princess has an good story that's an affectionate parody of action-RPGs. There are few twists or character moments you will not see coming on your first playthrough.
