Classic and 3D. Boost just ruins the Sonic formula since the series is more of a platformer like Mario. Frontiers is fine, but not as strong as Classic and 3D.

Yes, Sonic is about speed. But most of the time, players need to find ways to reach to higher platforms. The speed was used for marketing hype from Sega.
