best movie based video games

Over The Hedge's Console versions are one of the best platformers i've played, the GCN disk i got? Scratched of overuse!, granted, it was burnt from a cheap blank, still...

Unlike most games of the era that retold the plot in a way to make it work as a game, this one has a unique plot set after the movie's events, combat is fuid, controls are responsive and smooth and platforming is great

"Most" might be going a bit far. The only property I can think of in J that was movie-based is Hades Project Zeorymer... Even that might count as an OVA. The rest were firmly series and OVAs.

-_- That is the rub. Some that were Ova, later are re-released as movies especially overseas. Sometimes reversed as well. I know Gundam Wing Endless Waltz (is actually used in 23 SRW games maybe more) and that is been both a ova and movie.

I loved the whimsy in the Star Wars & Pirates of the Caribbean games.

Goldeneye is always a classic. NES Batman was pretty fun.

I've never played any, but I've heard great things about the Alien games, especially Alien: Isolation.

Man, everyone picked about most the games I'd mention.

Here's one though. Aeon Flux on PS2. Really fun combat. Actually surprised that movie got a game, and that it was good. Still think the original show was better than the movie, but the movie wasn't bad.
