best mahou shoujo game?

lately, i've been obsessed with precure (heartcatch precure, specifically!) and now i've got... five magical girl animes i'm juggling.

i know there's a few precure games on ds and gba... i've heard they're kind of mid, but i haven't tried them personally. and magical girl lyrical nanoha has two psp games (one, two) that i really want to play, once i get far enough in the anime...

and i've had magic knight rayearth (ss) recommended to me a few times. i definitely need to play it eventually...

kokoro clover is really, really cute, and is magical girl-esque, but other than that i haven't really played any mahou shoujo games beyond, like... a few random sailor moon roms in zsnes, when i was a kid..? haha... so, if you know any mid to good mahou shoujo themed games, i'd love to hear your recommendations!!!

Honestly in terms of officially licensed media you're going to be wading through a lot of cash-grab bargain-bin trite, but on the condition you start saying magical girl instead of mahou shojo I do have some varied suggestions that are at least magical girl adjacent

In Madou Monogatari: Hanamaru Dai Youchienji, you play as Arle in a super cute JRPG spin-off of the Madou Monogatari games

In Arle no Bouken: Madou no Jewel, you play as Arle, who is a Pokemon trainer

In Mahou No Princess Minky Momo: Remember Dream, help Momo avoid trucks

There are also two Cardcaptor games for PSX you may like, Cardcaptor Sakura: Animetic Story Game and Tetris with Cardcaptor Sakura: Eternal Heart

& These are a stretch, but…
In Oshare Princess, you’re a magical fashion princess? I think.

Only in looking for these photos did I learn how many of these games there are:

In Shin Kisekae Monogatari you play a magical girl who uses her magic to become….a fashion princess. I think

And before you ask, that’s definitely not Artemis from Sailor Moon, it’s a totally different cat, distinct in every way

Utena is technically a mahou shoujo anime, and this game here is more of a visual novel.

If you're a fan of the Utena series, I highly recommend playing this game released exclusively for the Sega Saturn.

The game was never released outside of Japan, but there is a fan translation of it in English.
