GT6 has over 1,200 cars, which is insane! No video game other than GT5 even comes close!

Well is GT 4 the sheer variety of racing, cars, mission all of them can unlock with no dlc or extra paid is so sweet.

GT4 is truly amazing! Unfortunately I don't think we'll ever get a game like GT4 again.

i'm super retro so gran turismo 2
it's surprising for how old it is it's still a decent game with decent car customization.
it's piss easy though lol drifting muscle cars and super cars like it's ridge racer

You should really try the GT2 A-Spec mod. It adds a LOT of cars!

It's GT4 without a doubt, only GT2 comes close to it.
I think it's one of those "lightning in a bottle" games, i doubt we will ever get a racing game with the same amount of content and car selection to GT4.

There are many personal "best", but there isn't always a "No.1" when it comes to Gran Turismo I feel as they are clearly the one of the best racers on PlayStation consoles but the series is constantly changing alongside the consoles and their controllers.

Playing GTPSP, GT2, GT3, GT4, and GT6, I think that GT6 had the best controls and one part of that is thanks to the Dual Shock 3's triggers to manage your acceleration, GT4 had the best old-school simulation mode where you're not taking a linear approach in your progression, GT3 was the banner game for the rest of the Gran Turismo series and PS2 in 2001 (A great year, I wish I was there.), GT2 for its fun drift-like handling, and GTPSP for bringing GT to a handheld for the first time in an interesting way.

How? 7 has the worst progression in the entire mainline series. If you're purely talking about the driving model and not the progression then maybe I could agree, as 7 is probably the most realistic in terms of handling.

This, it was purely the handling, cars handle so well in this game.

for me it's a tossup between 2 and 4, though I slightly favor 2 due to my fervent dislike of racing games where the AI poses little to no challenge (which 2 at least does somewhat better on compared to the other entries)

7 is the worst GT game in terms of the progression system. You're most likely gonna be disappointed.

2 & 4.2 for hundreds of hours driven.But on the paper maybe 4.With all the hacks out there....
