I was using one from the company flieep. I'm looking for some recommendations for an affordable controller available on Amazon. The one I'm using now is having problems with the directional pad sticking to the right for some reason. I haven't used it for awhile I tried cleaning it taking it apart but it's just not working. I really enjoyed it but it's currently unavailable on Amazon right now. This is the one I had.

I really liked it. I currently can't afford anything over 40.00 USD right now, so any one have any good recommendations I'd be super appreciative. Thanks everyone ???

How expensive is a DualShock 4 currently? I believe that’s your best bet right now.

That's a cool looking controller by the way
If you're okay with retractable gamepad, I suggest buying the bsp controller. Check if there's any version you like of course
Mine is D3 and I've been using it for months now, it's great. I bought it in Lazada for below RM 40 since I used a voucher and the stores coin. If I convert it to USD it's pretty low, like 8.95 (I did it here Link). Maybe it's lower though but the price doesn't change much

Here's an example, I bought the green one

If you used AliExpress, you can buy it for 22$+ right here Link (it's a bit different)
Hope it helps

8BitDo Pro 2 - A versatile bluetooth controller with 2 programable back buttons (+macro) and it works well with PC/Mac, Mobile devices and Nintendo Switch.
While its over 40$ (the current price range from 50-60$) its worth the price tag considering it has hall effect joy-sticks (drift resistance) and the battery is easily replaceable making it last years.

This. This controller is excellent. Something about the feel feels like a weird marriage of new school (the grips) and old school( a super flat SNES layout). Have one at home and it's consistently one of my favourites for years now.

Also if bluetooth is not super necessary and a dongle for 2.4GHZ is fine (not sure if this is just for phones or PC too) the 8bitDo 2C controller is also very good and much cheaper (about 25).

I so want one, but always be cheapskate and pesky official store won't combine shipping for measly phone mount. I got a 25$ ipega instead, including mount, but no analog triggers (which still have springs in em to make you feel extra stupid), and it's actually decent for me, though I have a very low standard cause this is the story of my life.

Heh its not a telescopic (made to fit in a phone) controller, unfortunately. It is a really good one, but isn't the kind of thing you bring portably. More for if you want a controller for a PC or something on a big screen.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!!!
Sorry I haven't responded sooner, was having some health problems. Have a great day everyone!!!

@adecay83 Glad to hear you're doing better. and a PS3 controller would be good. i actully like them more than the PS4 ones myself
And i think you can get them NIB <new in box> for 20-30 bucks on ebay

Thanks for the suggestion I appreciate it ?

I have never been let down by 8bitdo's products, but do not attempt to Bluetooth 2 of them to your phone if you want to be able to move and not have the controller randomly push buttons for the other person instead of yours. ?

I am a big fan of 8bitdo. Don't have much experience with gaming on a phone so I'm not sure how well they'd work with phones or if they're compatible with any phone clips. The controllers I use are above 40 bucks but the Ultimate 2C is 30 bucks regular price on Amazon and claims to have hall effect joysticks. There's also the Micro controller for 25 bucks, although it might be too small to be comfortable, but it certainly would be portable. The only downside of 8bitdo I've experienced is that connecting a controller to a device can be a pain sometimes, but the newer ones do seem to be better about that.
