Bare Knuckle and Golden Axe, the originals on Mega Drive, literally taught me perseverence and starting from scratch to learn from your defeats. They were instrumental games in my life.

So sick of Beat 'Em Ups. It's one of the only genres the person I live with is interested in playing, so we have an overabundance of Beat 'Em Ups available to play, and little else.

We've been playing Shredder's Revenge, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Cowabunga Collection, Double Dragon, River City Ransom, etc. I am so tired of Beat 'Em Ups. They're all over the SNES section of the Switch Online emulator, too. Why they included Rival Turf, Brawl Brothers, The Peace Keepers, and several others instead of more well-known, well-liked games (even for Beat 'Em Ups) I don't understand.

Oh well, we're getting the Kunio collection soon.
