I have not played this version although apart from only having Platform Stages it also has Driving Stages Where Batman Drives the Batmobile that consist of defeating enemies, avoiding obstacles, etc. But the game's soundtrack to be composed by Spencer Nilsen is On Fire!
Honestly, not a bad Batman game! Some very unique level design, a fantastic Redbook soundtrack, the driving stages are a great showing of the Sega-CD's tech. I have an absolute soft spot for this game.
Other than the driving stages and Spencer Nilsen's compositions, there's not much that differentiates the Sega CD port from the Genesis version. If you liked the Genesis game, you'll probably like this one as well. If not, then it's best to stay away.
