If this game was translated in the future it would be the only best truck sim game on the GBC.

I played it eons ago on PS1.
Even though I knew some Japanese, it wasn't easy to get to grips with. BUT basically, the game is about making deliveries in certain ways and within specified timeframes and conditions, even against other couriers.
Quite funny.
On GB, should be more or less the same, I guess...

Is this playable without knowing japanese?

I believe it's not. The menus and dialogues are fully in japanese.
