I could agree on Kojima being overly pretentious about his Death Stranding but at least he got a solid groundwork with Snatcher, Policenauts and Metal Gear.

Cage has just "narrative" games with barely any gameplay aside from QTEs and choices like a TellTale game.

Hell, even Shenmue had proper Virtua Fighter gameplay slapped on his story.
