So I am making a tabletop wargame. Don't worry this isn't a plug, I just mention it because it is part of the origin story for this series. I am currently writing the lore for the game, so updates on the Patreon only happen every 2 weeks-ish. I needed something for the weeks in-between that I could crank out quick and offer something different for the patrons. Thus the Bad AI Comic series was born. I am a writer not an artist, so I do use AI art for the few visuals I use on Patreon and itch.io that is how I came up with the idea.
Its pretty simple, I feed the AI app I use a prompt and it poops out images that it figures make a comic based on it. I string the images together as I see fit and then write and insert all of the text bubbles. At the end there are single page comics with my humor set to AI generated images. For the sake of argument I want to be clear: The only part the AI does is draw the images, I do the arrangement, and all of the writing.
I figured I would share some of them here and see if you all like the concept and/or my results. I will include the prompt I used for the art with them so you can see the distance from where it started to where it ended.
If enough people enjoy these 3 I will include more later on. Input is welcome. You can be mean but be fair. This is all just for a bit of chaotic fun.
