Backstory behind your avatar?

I think I've said it before...
However when people ask me who is the character behind my avatar (which I use everywhere) my answer is: "It's ME,it's a self-portrait!!"

And there are two kinds of answers.
The people who when they hear me think: "That's cool and cute 💓💕"
And the people who when they hear me think: "Uugh...How unoriginal and egocentric🙄"

People who say the latter are people you shouldn’t listen to. Personally, I think it’s adorable. This is a really nice read.

Mine is from the 2018 fast paced action game, Pizza Titans Ultra. You play as a giant, crime fighting, pizza delivering robot and you must deliver pizzas within the time limit. You also have to defeat the evil forces of the diabolical Cheezeborg and his inferior pizza.

χ (pronounced Kai) is a cut character from Megaman X2, originally designed to be the leader of the X-Hunters, she was created by Dr. Wily and abandoned in favor of focusing efforts on the Zero Project, then later completed by someone (presumably Serges) and made leader of the hunters. Her and Violen's 2nd form were cut from the game because they were testing the limits of their newest chip technology. There just wasn't enough ROM space to make all that happen.

I first saw this picture of her;

And it was then I realized I wanted to  become her; after doing some research I discovered that we had already had the same personality traits, and she was already like me in every way; like it was meant to be, or even based on me, so I didn't need to change anything about myself to basically -be- her.

She's Hexer, also known as Cursemaker in Japan, and Hexcaster in Europe, apparently. She's one of the classes from Etrian Odyssey 1 and 2.

I'll be pretty honest: I've never played any of the games thoroughly, the lowest I've been in Yggdrasil was the second stratum in Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl.
I just found her one day while searching for EO art and thought she was pretty cute and also cool, so she's been kind of like an avatar/mascot of mine for a relatively long time now.
She's also literally me.

snes games apparently have a size range from 2-48 mb. mmx2 is about 1.50 mb in size.

i'd say based on the picture that you uploaded; the real reason that she was cut is that she is too hot for the player to handle. if Dr. wily finished working on her, i would have joined his team.

no regrets. Dr. wily for the win.

Erika Karisawa from Durarara!
I like her vibe, and it's also a big thing for me personally because I never knew the name of the Anime until recently. I remember watching a snippet of it as a kid at like 3am on Adult Swim where they were texting each other about stuff happening and one of the characters going outside to see someone get flung into a lamppost. This was all I remembered of this show for years until the end of last year when me and a friend went through a list of Adult Swim anime to find it.

Well im a child of the 80s, and i loveeee GTA Vice City, Miami Vice (the series) and all that 80s vibes, and i really like the look of the 80s sports cars. I also really like the neon art style that is used in retro stuff, and so, my avatar does all that for me. It has that 80s GTA /neon /night drive feel to it.

I understand the character is far too special for any one person to claim or self insert as I'm not that arrogant I promise! Edward was the persona I always projected outward in to my roleplaying characters but especially so in MMORPGs, it got me a fair few stalkers when I was younger. Not even joking! Tip for anyone roleplaying, don't put cute personas in to female characters unless you want to attract an army of suitors! Anyways, I would say she was my spirit animal.

.. And for the three people viewing that don't know the character, it's a girl called Radical Edward from Cowboy Bebop! It's a pretty highly regarded anime and you should definitely take the time to watch it, not watching it is like being in to medieval fantasy and not knowing what Lord of the Rings is.

What is your avatar? Why did you pick it? What show/game/movie/comic/manga is it from? Why is it significant to you?

In short, discuss your avatar here as much as you like.
