Backing everything up on the internet archive

I would try something other than Internet Archive for now.

Just gonna throw it in there ... the Repo we have here has a faster download speed than IA ... well anything over 100 MB I mean :(

My advice. Buy 4 of everything, Drive wise. Make Quadruple backups.
1 to use if you need something off of it
1 To store everything on
1 to backup everything again
1 to backup the backup
Any drive can Fail. but 3 failing all at the Same time, without using them Constantly, while not impossible, is rather infeasible.

I have been loosing my games collection 3 times, because of inaccessible media, loosing backup service account and faulty disk.

I was not sad, every time I discover more cool (mostly aged) games and build a collection once again. Now I tend to delete a game if i wouldn’t going to play it any time soon, but I keep downloading games I wish to play at some point.
I always be afraid that the site where I got them will be no longer maintained, or a particular title removed from it, when I finally decide to download it. With popular games it is not a problem to find it elsewhere, but some patched, hacks I‘d like to preserve.

Long live RGT Repo!

P.S. Would be nice to collect roms and share them as a torrents…
