Because of it I especially play the USA version because it feels like "realistic car behavior" despite how BS it's lol... Oh, well it actually make the game have Initial D "vibe" when you listen to eurobeat while your car is like a wild horse drifting wherever whenever lolol:

I actually figured out that both versions has clear difference in driving but they just have their own "rules" to drive the car. USA version perhaps intended to be made more realistic but it ruins laws of physics but if you play it "by the book" cars doesn't behave so BS just like playing a rally game lol.

To tell the truth, among all the PS2 racing games, I haven't played this one, but it looks like a kind of Gran Turismo, but Capcom version, although graphically it's more like anime than semi-realism, but I'll give this game a chance.

Well yeah but... lol

But really the game doesn't care to make you drive a car "realistically". Race-wise the game is like Gran Turismo because where you race is closed to traffic and all despite you have urban race tracks and all.

The game doesn't have massive amount of cars just like the point of Gran Turismo but I gotta say it's still satisfactory.

But the game is more than Gran Turismo stuff that makes it closer to, just an example, Need for Speed Underground series because you can modify your car visually and all despite your options being fewer and simpler. What's more is you can even customize your garage. Imagine like a Sims game you choose furniture and all and place them wherever you want to decorate your garage. I gotta say it's cool.

In the end if you love car racer games I would recommend it for the personalisation aspect of the game that you may like, otherwise no one loses anything by not playing this game. I personally like the visual style and locations you race that gotta say they matter a lot in racing games. I don't have favorite race tracks in other games as much as this game. In the end looking at your car and your car looking visually appealing is a big plus for racing games. So gotta say they did a great job at giving you satisfaction when you want a racer game. For example for me this is the coolest aspect of the game that I love this place to race a lot:

What was with publishers ruining their games for the US market, trying to make them "easier"... Several racing games have godawful physics changes because of this. At least the PAL version is also readily available sometimes, like this game. It is so much better.

Auto Modellista is a classic that deserves to be experienced properly.

And just for Americans they ruin gaming to befit the whole video game industry to their low sense of quality and culture we don't have to care about and unnecessary censors and all here and there applied in crazy nonsense way lol.

When I download a game I especially make sure it's not an American version unless the American version doesn't have a bug or something lol. Yeah not all American versions are bad but ain't gonna waste my time fact check about these lol.
