Attack of the Commercials

This one, for the Atari 5200 version of Mario Bros., always makes me laugh my head off:

This one for Mario Party 6 is maximally nostalgic. I wish Bowser was my friend. ?:

FACT: Kids in the 80s wanted to have nefarious relations with Mrs. Pac-Man:

This Robin Williams Zelda one always made me a little happy:

And, finally, I’ve mentioned this before, but this e-Reader commercial is my favourite game ad of all time. Poor DK Jr.:

You being here has reminded me to change this thread name to something… some might recognize.

Edit: change is done. Let’s see if anyone gets it. ::biggrin

The X-Men had some great ones in the 90's for the 19 different toy lines they had running, my personal favourite is this Hardee's commercial with an accurate and actually convincing live action Mystique appearance. Hardee's knew how to do it better than any live action movie, bizarre.

For a gaming one, easily the surreal Lynchian PS3 ads.

Possibly my favorite commercials from the Sonic series
The smash bros commercial is sheer joy.
Also the Japanese sonic adventure commercials were such joy. Felt quite adventurous. Jun'ichi Kanemaru Lending his voice to all Japanese sonic media even today is also bgreat.

Lynchian PS3 ads.
I wish they would still use the “PlayStation” spoken jingle. That was Sony’s equivalent to the SEGA chant!

These Sega Dreamcast commercials are incredibly creative

Do i really need to explain why the Segata Sanshiro commercials are so damn amazing
Beat me to it. Legit one of the best ad campaign Sega has ever made and one of the best in gaming History.

The first portrayal of Luigi as an easily scared person. Also wild how Nintendo games weren't always on Nintendo hardware. The music is nice and the enemies are cute.

Some nostalgia from a forgotten era of Sony

I love the animation
