Atelier Lina is a game I always wanted to play and it also didn't have an English patch until now, so one day, out of boredom, I decided to try making an English patch for it.
Keep in mind it's machine translated - the text has been translated by Gemini.

All the story/character text, the NPC dialogue, the item/enemy/character descriptions, the skill names/descriptions, and the help menu have been translated.
However, the other menus, the graphics, and some minor dialogue have been left untranslated, but it should be playable from start to finish.

The game had a pretty strict character limit (17 characters and 3 lines max except for the descriptions for some reason).

Of course, it's a one-man job, so if someone wants to make a proper translation of it, contact me.

Here's the patch :

Did you do a proofread and correction to the machine translation before inserting it into the game patch?

Is the patch going to be uploaded to romhacking.net or any other hosting site?

I guess inserting text is easier than I thought? I tried working with this game ages ago but I'm not really super familiar with that sort of thing so I mostly just got confused. It's good though that the game is at least playable, hopefully we'll get a human translation at some point in the future.

The main thing is that, like I said earlier, the game has a strict character limit : if one of the script files (or text files) is beyond the limit, it'll show you this neat message :

The devs were nice enough to tell anyone working on this game what the character limit was (17 characters and 3 lines max)
This character limit doesn't apply to the descriptions, for some reason :

To answer the other questions, I uploaded the hack to Romhack Plaza but it's still in queue. I guess I should upload it to romhack.ing or other sites like that.
Also, I did check every single script file to make sure that it was within the limits.
