No, I'm not. Just a silly nickname from high school that transformed into the username I generally use.

How did you get that nickname?

It's a joke from this video (I can't remember the exact time it happens in the video), but one of the youtubers in it is called Mr. Paladin. He's a bit older than most of the others in there, "old enough to be their father" specifically, so one of them jokingly starts calling him Daddy, to which Mr. Paladin responds "Actually, call me Mr. Daddy." My friends in school were wanting to give me a nickname for a while, but I'd always been needlessly picky about it because I just really didn't want a nickname, so as I joke I thought to myself "If I just tell them a really stupid one they can call me, they'll give it up." Kinda backfired, but it also warmed me up to the idea anyway.

Unfortunately no, he's just my profile picture because I just always found his 60s era helmet to be really funny because they gave his helmet eyes. And I say his helmet because, in some issues from the time, his helmet was frequently drawn with the eyes drawn that way even when it was off, or at an angle that would be above his actual eyes. I guess for some reason they just didn't want to white them out like pretty much every other superhero with eyes on their helmet at the time. My actual favorite is Doctor Strange, if you're curious, and my favorite from specifically DC is Alan Scott Green Lantern.

What's the last game you've played?

The last game I actually finished was Pokemon White. Just hadn't gotten around to playing that one yet, and Pokemon is usually something simpler to knock out of the backlog in a relatively short time period. The last game I played in a more literal sense was Marvel Rivals.

He'd have to pay me at least a billion dollars, because Johnny is a homicidal maniac, and I don't feel like risking that otherwise.

Assuming this is a trick question and not a typo, I have to go with the unlimited bacon. If it is a typo, I go without bacon. I already can't eat bacon often anyway, because I'm allergic to hickory, and bacon is often smoked with hickory.

Most hated movie genre?

Musicals. There are some that I enjoy, but for the most part I find that I'd like most musicals a lot more if they were just the same films without the songs, maybe with some other dialogue to replace what plot relevant stuff might be there. Everyone breaking into song and dance on a whim also just really takes me out of it a lot of the time. And why does everyone in so many of these movies not only have to look flawless, but also have perfect singing voices? I know an unpleasant voice would be a drawback for most people, but I really think musicals are at their best trying to look and sound pretty natural when they can, which most just... don't. Most of the time I just kinda feel like I'm watching a bunch of fake people in an idealized scenario with no stakes doing things perfectly and occasionally breaking out into song and dance just kinda because.

I am absolutely in love with playing Barbarian in pretty much any edition of D&D. My brain is immensely satisfied by just running up to something, taking a hit that I absolutely should not be able to survive because of rage, and just absolutely wailing on it in retaliation to get the big damage numbers. It's fun for multi-classing, it's fun to play on its own, and admittedly roleplaying something very angry can be therapeutic.

As for favorite edition, definitely 3.5. My parents have been fans of D&D since 1st edition, and 3.5 is their preferred version, so it's what I grew up playing. (The PHB and Monster Manual were actually tools they used to help me read, in addition to ps1 RPGs.) I love how much freedom the system allows for, and the mechanics in general are just all around fun and satisfying.​
