Fair enough! I can do that with movies, and talk about terrible/mediocre films long enough to irritate friends and lovers, but bad games are tough to maintain interest for. I'm almost envious!I enjoy writing about games at least, as I can't say I enjoyed playing all of them. But I do also enjoy playing bad games, to a certain extent? I guess I'm pretty suited for this whole thing, actually.
Andromeda wasn't the first time I've scrapped an article, but it was the first one that I was actually excited about doing and had to scrap for other reasons (part of it was the negativity). All the others were just things I wasn't sure on the concept of after coming up with the idea, or games that once I started playing I was just like 'eh' or just wasn't feeling the writing for.
(I *realllllly* tried for Vanguard Bandits on the PSX, for example. I re-wrote that review like six times, and looked up everything I could about the game and it's creators. It was just too meh, in the end. I even kinda like the game, but I can't say much besides "It's a standard SRPG, whose most interesting trait was hitting North America at a time when that genre - and it's anime/mecha art - were starting to become very popular with a wider audience").
By the way...you haven't played the original Fallout? Not to be a bitch, but whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy- You managed Crusader and the Might and Magic series, I promise it's even better!
