Probably the hot day of recent days.

The all might return to form love letter number 452 for classic MMORPG just fired all its workers after like 12 years, and will now shut down scamming all its believers by "technically" launching on steam a couple of months ago, so the promise of "If we dont release it, we will return you your money" is technically fulfilled.

Personally I remember that a friend told me back in my university days that this new MMORPG will save the genre, in like 2018 iirc. I research it and it looked amazing, I usually try to keep my head cool on these things and some promises where just so great that I just couldnt see how they would make them work. And well... they didnt.

I keep an eye from time to time on the project, but I was not going to spent 250 dollars for alpha2, and thank God I didnt knew about the Steam release or I would have fallen for that. Just to see how it was.

But what about you guys? Did any of you had high hopes for the game or smelled the scam from miles away?

Well, I don't want to be that guy who saw it coming, but I was very sceptical from the very beginning. My PC is too old to run games like this but I was just curious how will it all turn out. Every interview the devs did only raised my suspision. Yeah it actually sounded like they know what they are doing, gamers making a game for gamers, but it all sounded too ambitious to be real. I always felt like even if it will release someday they will eff it up in one way or another. My guess was just regular greed and microtransactions but I guess it didn't even get that far.
