I got subscribed to the service when it was just starting out (mostly because I was pissed that all Disney stuff had been pulled from Netflix) and remained a costumer for a few months, but I was annoyed by the lack of shows available in my region and ultimately cancelled my account.

A few months later, a friend of mine offered to share his account with me and I jumped right back in, but I was still not impressed — many of the shows I had missed had been added since, but the whole thing felt a bit dire (and certainly not magical)... It looked more like a hub of properties they owned than a streaming service for beloved classics.

But the thing that made me not care (and caused my friend to unsubscribe as well), was the rather curious - read: 'paranoid' - way in which the app resisted being streamed from a phone to your TV and demanded that any downloaded episodes be "validated" through an online check to remain accessible to you... FUCK YOU.

And that was that.

What about you?

Ngl disney+ are kinda suck but myself personally don't subscribe to any streaming service except if i have a certain show that was on air and i really wanted to see it. In my case it's when Loki aired at disney+ where i started my subscription or our to be excact. Since basically it's me and my sister who uses this one account and we will watch it together.

So several problem i have is yeah some movies are unaccessible but that doesn't really concern me very much since i only watched like one series.

I remember watching this video sometime ago that if you've subscribed to Disney+, there's a loophole that activates preventing you from suing Disney.

So if you plan to visit the parks, don't get injured.

I'm not sure if a judge struck it down by this time.

I was briefly bc covid made me do crazy shit, never used tho. I've a collection of classic Disney movies on VHS and some other stuff from my childhood/teens on DVD and CD.

Nah... I cheat to watch the things I wanna watch.

Never used it and I have no desire to use it. Besides, most of the content on there isn't worth dumping your money on.

I'm perfectly content with sailing the ocean blue for movies & shows as almost every streaming streaming service provides an experience that doesn't justify burning your hard-earned money (Not to mention, the price hikes, limited catalogs and shows disappearing due to the inability of keeping the license).

Only Amazon Prime (Video) when they offered me some discount, and always only for a month or two.
Never had other subscriptions for watching things: when not on TV, I borrow dvds from my local library or I'll look on YouTube for what I can watch for free.

I where but only becuse my kids. But now my kids are not living at home so no need to give dies quacks any more money. Ducking hate Disney they become trash the past few years murdering shit we all like. Like star wars ect.

I dont subscirbe to anyting i buy movies om disc and if I cant high sea i go.

can't say it would interest me now tv in the UK used to have the disney movies but probably lost them to this platform mighty ducks 1 2 and 3 cool runnings and heavyweights id revisit sometime.

I genuinely love that so many of you are still using/getting DVDs, and I still have around 200 myself.

Really living up to the RETRO part. I love it ::megadancebaby

Struggling with money? Have good internet? Subscriptions can get cut first. I get all my shit on [Redacted] and [Redacted] with no shame.

I just got a subscription last month because I wanted to watch some old cartoons, specifically with dubs. It also seems to have a ton of live action stuff that I've been consuming.

So far haven't ran out of things to watch. Planning to unsub as soon as I do though. I've sort of allowed myself one subscription service at a time if it has stuff that I actually want to watch.

It’s a fucked up situation. It doesn’t exist as an option where I live but you can sub to it with our mobile data providers which is a bizarre situation to be in, like I dislike going through a third party client in a service I was already iffy about.
Sucks cuz a lot of great arabic dubs (and prison break) is gatekept behind their servers.

I used it a couple of times before I completely unsubscribed from it completely. It's not really worth the money.

My family does and since I live with family, I guess I am too by extension (although I ain't the one paying for it). It's the only one we've got where we actually pay for no ads. We got it bundled with Hulu so I mostly use it for the Hulu stuff over the Disney stuff tbh.

I was when I got a subscription for free for a year. I think it was when I originally signed up to a phone plan. Once that was (close to being) done I cut it and didn't pay a dime. Barely used it during that year and only forced myself to get some value at the end by shotgunning some old movies.

Never been a fan of streaming in general really.

I never subscribed to any streaming platform. I rarely watching at all. I'd prefer to read instead.

It came included with my phone plan. I used it like, three times to watch Wreck-It-Ralph, Ralph Breaks the Internet and Toy Story 4.
