I got subscribed to the service when it was just starting out (mostly because I was pissed that all Disney stuff had been pulled from Netflix) and remained a costumer for a few months, but I was annoyed by the lack of shows available in my region and ultimately cancelled my account.
A few months later, a friend of mine offered to share his account with me and I jumped right back in, but I was still not impressed — many of the shows I had missed had been added since, but the whole thing felt a bit dire (and certainly not magical)... It looked more like a hub of properties they owned than a streaming service for beloved classics.
But the thing that made me not care (and caused my friend to unsubscribe as well), was the rather curious - read: 'paranoid' - way in which the app resisted being streamed from a phone to your TV and demanded that any downloaded episodes be "validated" through an online check to remain accessible to you... FUCK YOU.
And that was that.
What about you?
