This guy (Carl) is a pivotal part of the show. If he wasn't in it I don't know how well it would have done. Fucking great parts in the show that he's the antagonist haha

internet archive is a good place to look. i found the entire series there before getting the complete collection dvd box set. it has 20 discs. all episodes and the movie with bonus feature for the movie.

As someone who grew up watching Adult Swim way younger than I was supposed to, so like half their audience, a lot of Adult Swim of that era was a special brand of dumbfuck edgelord stoner humor. It's kind of hard for me to explain. You either need to be said dumbfuck (hi I'm dumbfuck) or be high off your ass.
I still remember the episode where they try to go on a diet. Metalocalypse really had this "group of dumbasses casually shooting the shit in absurd situations" shtick that would later be more popular in Regular Show. Metalocalypse is basically Regular Show for metalheads, by metalheads.
