Appreciation for spike

Spike is a tremendous inspiration, for keeping the lights up in a time of spiritual darkness of the scene.
His idea of keeping pre-patched ROMS around is a major help in testing the many different works of different people, as well as having an idea of what is the Best In Class hacks to put in your Definitive Version of any game.

Agreed on the pre-patched roms! It opened the door for me to actually learn how to patch more roms myself because I wanted more of what I was getting from the pre-patched stuff and I wanted to make them myself. I’m sure it has introduced many other people to rom hack stuff as well! We all need to get our foot in the door somehow!

This guy has my family tied up in his basement.

He’s the best, all jokes aside! Massive props for handling the massive Repo and forums on the back end! Cannot be inexpensive to maintain all this, so I have to give massive props.

Even more massive props for putting up with all our nonsense.
One time Spike came to my house and went through my fridge. With a mouthful of my cheese he just shrugged, pushed me down and ran out of my house yelling about seagulls taking his soul.
I still have nightmares about this
