I don't know if you guys know this but i think the naming sense of both X and Zero are very creative in mathematic sense. Like first we have X you know the letter that everyone hated when it touched math. But sadly that same letter were also representing unlimited possiblities x is a variable that can become anything it is indeed everything. And that's show how X behave he got the power to became anything (copying enemy weapon) the upgrade etc. And thats how he can always turn the table since it is a variable that can hold anything and may appear randomly.

And the other is zero. Zero always represented as this perfect or ultimate thing and yeah it is what zero (the number was) even tho it's supposed to represent nothingness but when you guys think about it if you multiply zero with any number other than itself it will always result to 0 and if you add number it'll be equal to that number. What i wanna say is 0 represents the constant in this sense and that's what zero he didn't change even if the world gets destroyed. As of why it is called ultimate is the fact it's in the state of constant. Evolution will occur to adapt againts the enviroment but if you're already perfect then evolution won't be needed.

And another thing is everytime X and 0 meet in a function you know it'll be easy to solve than other function it's also represent how people trust these two heroes.

That's genuinely very interesting to me, but it immediately reminded me of this letter to Nintendo Power:

Good stuff on both cases.

Your thoughts on Sigma and Axel?
I can say that Sigma is also representative in both personality and it's way of fighting since in math sigma will either Summation or Deviation (but i do think that Sigma is the way math represnt a recursive)

In which if we take back to sigma it does match it's own personality (except the summation i don't know how to connect that) but at first we know that Sigma were originally the leader of maverick hunter then turns bad because of the program or we can say deviate from it's original function. And the fact that sigma are literally the springtrap of megaman X series we can say it does represent the recursive properties of Sigma

As Axl i don't really got the math reference i wanna connect it to vector but it won't really connect the only thing i can get from Axl and his name is Accel or you know acceleration since the way we pronounce Axl is the same as Accel and in that sense we can tell that Axl has the reckless and this rockhead personality but also fast. (But it's not as cool as the others)

but still cmiiw

Partially related, but I've come to appreciate how X and Zero represent the design philosophies of Dr. Light and Dr. Wily, respectively, and how both of those are interlinked, especially as of MM11.

Dr. Light always valued robots being able to think and feel for themselves; X is obviously the ultimate culmination of this philosophy, but it can also be shown with his other robots: Rock, Roll, his robot masters, and especially Proto Man. The latter is especially noteworthy: despite knowing that his core is faulty and will fail eventually, Dr. Light still respects Proto Man's autonomy, and never forces him into repairs, understanding Proto Man's fears of losing himself, should his core be replaced. But with that said, Dr. Light also understands the importance of power for robots, agreeing to convert Rock into Mega Man, as well as leaving behind countless upgrade capsules for X to find. He even states that he saw the world needing "a new champion" in X1.

Wily, meanwhile, values power over all else. He believes that without power, robots can never gain the respect of humans. This is especially elaborated of late in the backstory behind his Double Gear system in 11, as well as the motives and actions he takes in material outside the games (without spoiling too much, I'm mainly referring to what he does in Rockman-san/Mr. Mega Man, however, one story from Megamix also slots in nicely here). Zero is the ultimate culmination of Wily's drive towards power, being insanely strong from the start, unlike X, who has to work to reach Zero's level. That said, Wily does seem to value autonomous thought in his creations to an extent. He doesn't really keep much of a leash on Bass, even fighting against him at times (Power Battle/Fighters, as well as Mega Man & Bass). He also gave Zero the capacity for free will, as with X. He could've just made him a mindless weapon, as he was shown to be upon Sigma uncovering him, or how his body was eventually rendered by Omega in Zero 3, but the fact that Zero had the capacity to break free from that and choose his own path indicates Wily understood the importance of autonomy in robots to some degree.

Both Light and Wily acknowledge that free will and power in robots are very much co-dependent, however, their fundamental disagreement is over which side of the coin should be emphasized.

I'm 600 times stronger than them

Thoughts on Axl the red (Spike Roered), Izzy Glow (Shining Firefly), Duff McWhalen (Tidal Whale) and Grizzly Slash (Crescent Grizzly)?

That's really interesting, the ideas behind X and Zero are already well talked about, but the idea of Sigma and recusion is new to me. Cheers.

I think Axl can be viewed as one of two things. Either he's meant to be a decimal, which math-wise is more likely.
So if Zero = 0 and X = 1, then Axl is the infinite number of possible decimals between 0 to 1.

The other possibility, and the one that is more of a stretch in my opinion. Axl might represent ∀, a universal quantifier in logic and mathematics, meaning "any or all".
Hence his copy ability allowing him to basically copy near anyone.

ohhh that's makes sense considering axle copy abilities
