I remember these used to aire late at night on mtv probably because kids would be asleep. The Head, Aeon Flux, The Maxx,Todd McFarlane's Spawn
These cartoons felt like i was reading a comic book. I really like the designs of the characters and how each one was different from the other. Like you'll probably never see another cartoon like The Head again. I dont remember if these were the only 4 shows on mtv's oddities or if there was more.

Had to keep the volume down super low, always looking over my shoulder, jumping at the slightest noise and all that. The Maxx and Aeon Flux were the coolest things I had ever seen up to that point in my life. At around the same time I was also introduced to anime through Akira and Iria: Zeiram the Animation (The latter was aired on Sci-Fi Channel). The animation quality and mature content in all these shows completely blew my mind and made everything else seem vastly inferior in comparison.
