use to be obsessed with this show when i was young lol

I remember the English dub being on TV briefly when I was a teenager and enjoyed it.

I've played the Famicom game, but I haven't seen the anime...yet.
I just know that the English dub was basically a gag dub in a similar vein as Funimation's "Crayon Shin-chan" dub or the "Ghost Stories" dub.

Honestly I never saw the Anime but it looks very good and also I only knew it for the Video Game that came out for the Famicom in 1991 which is quite good by the way and there is even English translation thanks to the community.

It's a show where they basically threw out the script and recorded their own dialog (like Funi's Shin Chan and Ghost Stories). It's good for what it is, but maybe not for those who prefer a pure one to one translation. (Though there is internet gossip about the original director of the anime wishing they had gone the route of the English dub)

It's a great show. I've played the game and read the Saban Power comics. Now I'm eagerly waiting on the new game.
