I like the story the best of the snes games because its like outerworldly. its like bigger than msot ff ganes and doesnt focus just on one kingdom but meteors form outer space etc.

It would be awesome if it got a remake something like ff7 has been getting but in one game.

I love FFV, and I consider it one of the best games in the series.

What it lacked in story and length it made up for with character customization and depth. A handful of bunk jobs, but it's to be expected in a game like this.

Personally, I like to use the Three Slots patch so I can use multiple abilities. I think they should have made it that way anyway. ::biggrin

It's a damn good game that's not too convoluted for completionists, and its job system set a foundation for 2 of my favorite JRPGs.

I think it's okay. I like how many vehicles they go through in it. the most GTA final fantasy

doing a fiesta run atm. thief/monk/ranger/summoner. this party SUCKS right now

I havent gotten that far in it but im plying the gba version on emulator.

It just seems more enjoyabale than the other snes ones. I didnt like 6 at ll. 4 was good. I dont know why people love 6. that kafka chracter was just childish and dumb. I did like the concepts of a magi war and all that tech tho.

but gain i only played 6 fully and beat it way back as a kid in junior high close to when it came out. im playing 5 for the first time.

FFV is one of the best SNES Final Fantasies. Just a completely different vibe from FF4 and FF6. Its not afraid to be fun and goofy. And the job system is extremely well balanced and supported. Most jobs are viable all the way to the end game, unlike FFIII. The job system served as the basis for future games such as Final Fantasy Tactics and FFXIV.

V is great. Really enjoyed it on Pixel Remaster. Job hunting and collecting blue mage skills was a lot of fun. fantastic improvement over III's job system implementation.

I LOVE FINAL FANTASY V! It's my absolute favorite Final Fantasy and the one I replayed the most xD
It was also the first "classic FF" game I decided to experience when I was younger, and I went for it because I had a translated rom in portuguese xD
Also, I main Bartz in both Dissidia games, I know he's not that good in 012, but I don't care, Final Fantasy V baybee :V

I am playing through it for the first time currently! I just finished the Moore Pyramid dungeon :) love it so far, it's a lot more open and there's tons to explore

Final Fantasy V is my favorite FF of the 2d ff games....and more than several 3d ones too. Like the other guy said, Tactics is my number one cause it is just awesome in general.

Also, Seiken Densetsu series aka the Mana series is also a Final Fantasy....gaiden.

my first ff
that's probably why i'm very biased towards it
i love ff5 so much, that's why it kinda flabbergasted me when i found out lots of people round the world disliked it just cos it was more lighthearted

spit in their fuckin faces

Liked it a lot for the gameplay and how customizable it is. I also enjoy the fact how the story is more of a parody on traditional JRPG stories but yeah, it's not something that will stay with you.
Also by the end of the game I was feeling pretty exhausted from the constant fighting. It was from a time tho when I was very much a novice with JRPGs. It's one I'll definetly revisit sometime.

I love FFV for it's job system and silly charm, the story is honestly kinda shallow though....on story alone I'd rank it below VI. And VI may not have multiple worlds but it's world does change overtime which is also interesting. I generally have a hard time deciding which game I like more.
