Anyone heard of this thing?

I almost pulled the trigger on this on ebay a few times, just out of curiosity. I'm really surprised this hasn't gone up in value too much, the ones I was looking at were about $200 and you can still get one in that range.

A remnant of the era of Genreded gaming

James Channel has a video on this:

Right, turns out the Casio Loopy was specifically designed with younger girls in mind. Released in Japan in October 1995, it was an attempt to create a console tailored entirely for a female audience. Unlike its contemporaries that focused on action-packed gameplay or cutting-edge graphics, the Loopy leaned into creativity and self-expression. Its standout feature was a built-in thermal printer that let players turn in-game screenshots into real stickers, a novelty that aligned perfectly with the sticker craze among kids at the time.

Yeah and that guy is very negative and really just mocks the console. This, more recent, guy does it more justice.

lost opportunity. A contract with Mattel or Japanese doll companies for exclusive games would have boosted sales

Mentioned this here. You can also find all games on Myrient. Edit: nvm, just checked Vimm's site, I made a little confusion.
