I rewatch a lot of old Game Grumps, Oneyplays, and Dashiegames videos
Like to the point where I can quote some of them word for word lol

Yeah, I still rewatch most of AVGN, CallMeKevin, JonTron and Ross's Game Dungeon, as well as the sadly deleted (but thankfully archived) BirdyBoots. It really stings knowing that Emma will never take us through the games she had lined up for later episodes -- I'm sure she'd make me laugh really hard at The Walking Dead just like she had with Until Dawn and Life Is Strange.

Comfort viewing, deliberately rewatching things that are familiar. Same reason we replay games, it's that sensation of "familiar", nostalgia but in the moment itself.

This is the sole reason some people endlessly play cosey games that are extremely repetitive, or emjoy grinding levels in an RPG for hours.

For me the only things I've rewatched on YouTube are the dragon ball abridged episodes, not really much else that I can think of, mostly funnies for me that I rewatch.

Yeah, as mentioned above it's comfort viewing, it's familiar and safe, no surprises and harkens back to old memories of something you enjoyed.

I think that's right up there in the same lane of why people can play the one same game, or seasonal content forever, familiar and reliable for their time spent.

I block the ads on YouTube and just play music. As for shows, I have a bad habit of rewatching shows I have seen enough to quote. Mostly old shows like Dark Shadows, Night Gallery, Twilight Zone, etc.

Yeah, I still rewatch a lot of Civvie11 and SsethTzeentach's old stuff because it's just as funny as it was years ago, as well as old LGR, Usagi Electric, Forgotten Weapons, Techmoan, This Does Not Compute and RetroCollective stuff. I also enjoy watching old Vinesauce Vinny and Vargskelethor Joel videos from before they just started grinding it out to avoid demonetization.
