Probably slim chance, but...
I recently got a MemCard Pro 2, with the intention of adding FreeMcBoot to it to play burned discs off of Etsy, but the firmware (https://install.appcenter.ms/orgs/beta-ucu9/apps/memcard-pro2/distribution_groups/public) recently got updated to where it can run games directly from the SD card using a version of OPL MMCE. So if I can run games with the SD card already on the memory card, even better. I have followed the instruction page posted by 8bitmods here: https://www.8bitmods.wiki/advanced-usage, and I have a version of FreeMcBoot downloaded in a .mc2 file type on my computer, as well as I downloaded the OPNPS2LD.ELF file listed in the official Wiki, but I don't know where to put these files on my SD card/MemCard Pro 2 to get these to work. I also am unsure where to put game roms to load them once I get OPL working correctly.

Has anybody gotten this working? How do I set up FreeMcBoot/OPL on this thing?

I just got mine in the mail yesterday. Took me a couple hours, but I got it working on my fat PS2. Won't boot up on my slim 7000 model. I have found that you need to start up the system and then do a soft reset and it should boot up into Free McBoot as the Memcard Pro seems to take longer to boot up than the PS2 system. My slim has a busted power button and won't do a tap reset, which is probably the problem.

Once you have it running go to OPL and adjust the settings to get the HDD/BDM to start up automatically as everything is set to off by default. Save the settings and you should be good. I am using a separate card for the images, but I also have a HDD full of games that I used to use with an OPL disc.

Here's the link to the images that work for the MemCard Pro. I'm using the 128mb file. Put it in a"PS2" folder in the root of the card.

Yea just use an image that's floating around on the SD card, easy as that and works fantastic. Look into getting a SMB file on your computer as well. Loading games over the network is so good now days.

I tried this yesterday, but I'm stuck using the version of OPL he put on the file. I want to use the MMCE OPL file found here: https://github.com/ps2-mmce/Open-PS2-Loader/releases
The MemCard Pro 2 had a firmware update that will allow it to run games directly from the SD card, "Added support for the new MMCE OPL Protocol which allows you to use your MemCard PRO2 as a data source". I don't have a separate HDD or MC2SIO memcard. I was hoping to do it all with one unit. But I can't figure out how to configure it.

As luck would have it, this guy dropped a guide yesterday on how to get everything I was looking for. If anyone else is wondering, check it out:
